The Wellsboro Agitator (Wellsboro, Tioga Co., PA), December 17, 1878

Fifteen years ago the children of William Gehris, of Hereford, Berks county, five in number died of diphtheria. Of six children since born five have recently died of the same disease--the last two being interred in one grave.
